This heart is my interpretion of the ancient ex-votos. It's made with a unique quiling paper art and vintage style.
It can be seen that the art of Quilling has a long and interesting history. Work of high quality was achieved by French and Italian nuns in the 16th and 17th centuries. Nuns decorated reliquaries and holy pictures, adding gilding and much ornaments.
