Each cage is individually hand-formed from wire by the artist, giving every piece its own graceful, organic character. The cages are finished in softly aged tones and crowned with textile ribbons that echo the colour palette of the bird imagery within.
Nestled inside each aviary rests a decorative egg created on a polyester base, embellished with decoupage imagery and ornamental detailing, and carefully painted to harmonise with the surrounding cage and ribbon.
Inspired by antique curiosities and forgotten aviaries of old European homes, these pieces evoke the quiet poetry of treasured heirloom objects. Designed as sculptural decorative pieces, they can be displayed on shelves, tables or within seasonal arrangements.
