THE FEATHERED GENTLEMEN — Set of Two Birds

A wonderfully eccentric pair of handmade decorative birds, created as companions and offered together as a set.

Each gentleman has been individually sculpted and hand-finished in Cat-arzyna’s signature palette of softly aged ivory, parchment and weathered grey, with layers of texture and gentle distressing giving the pieces the character of treasured objects from another time.

Both wear wonderfully theatrical hats created from vintage-style sheet music and finished with extravagant white feathers. Delicate ruffs frame their necks, while aged music-paper ribbons wrap around their bodies, giving each bird his own subtly different attire and personality.

Whimsical without being overly sweet, The Feathered Gentlemen bring together music, theatre and the time-worn, romantic character that runs through Cat-arzyna’s handmade pieces.

Entirely handmade, each bird carries the subtle irregularities, textures and marks of the making process that make every Cat-arzyna creation unique.
