Aria – Standing Swan Sculpture
from The Lake Nocturne Collection
 
Aria is a standing swan sculpture from The Lake Nocturne Collection, handcrafted entirely by me using my own mixed media technique of paper maché and cotton.
Crowned and adorned with a bow made from aged sheet music, she appears as though taken from a silent nocturnal performance. Her elongated, almost balletic posture  suggest movement paused between sound and stillness — as if a melody lingers quietly in the air.
 
A decorative art object intended for romantic vintage interiors, poetic storytelling spaces and curated cottage homes.
