A decorative swan egg sculpture from The Lake Nocturne Collection, created on a solid polyester base and finished by hand using decoupage and traditional ageing techniques.
Each piece is adorned with a delicate crown, individually formed from wire and beads, and tied with a ribbon made from aged sheet music — a quiet reference to melodies once played and now lingering only in memory. The swan crest, framed within an ornamental medallion, gives the object the presence of a ceremonial relic preserved from another time.
Painted and finished by hand using an antique decorative technique, the softly time-worn surface reveals subtle variations in tone and texture, making every egg slightly unique.
