The Lyre Cherub
The cherub of music and poetry
Sonata Relics Collection
Handcrafted Collector Object
A romantic reliquary-inspired heart created as part of the Sonata Relics collection by Cat-arzyna Maison.
At its centre rests an image of a cherub holding a classical lyre, an enduring symbol of music, poetry and artistic devotion. Inspired by antique European decorative arts, faded chapel paintings and forgotten aristocratic interiors, the piece evokes the atmosphere of a treasured object preserved within a private archive.
The heart is crowned with delicate ornamentation and finished with decorative tassels, creating a graceful silhouette reminiscent of antique devotional relics and collector curiosities.
Every piece is individually handcrafted and intentionally aged, revealing layers of ivory patina, timeworn texture and subtle imperfections that contribute to its unique character.
