THE PUMPKIN ARIA

A One-of-a-Kind Musical Pumpkin

A solitary autumn piece where music, nature and time quietly meet.

This one-of-a-kind sculptural pumpkin has been entirely handcrafted in my studio using my signature mixed-media technique.

Its softly aged ivory surface is layered with fragments of vintage-style sheet music, allowing faded musical notation to travel gently around its rounded form. Delicate pearl-like details and subtle textural accents are scattered across the surface, giving the piece the appearance of something timeworn and treasured.

At its crown rises an expressive, hand-formed stem surrounded by sculptural leaves and fine translucent branches. Each leaf and irregular detail has been shaped and finished individually, creating an organic silhouette that feels as though it has grown naturally from the piece.

The distressed ivory tones, uneven surface, faded musical fragments and traces of age are all intentional — celebrating the imperfect character of handmade work.

Part sculpture, part imagined botanical relic, The Pumpkin Aria was created as a quiet celebration of music and the poetry of the changing season.

A distinctive art object for an autumn interior, yet subtle and timeless enough to remain on display throughout the year.
