THE ROYAL CONVERSATION — Set of Two Birds

A wonderfully characterful pair of handmade decorative birds, created as two companions and offered together as a set.

Finished in Cat-arzyna’s signature palette of softly aged ivory, warm parchment and time-worn grey, each bird has been individually sculpted and painted by hand, giving the pair their own distinct personalities.

One wears an ornate antiqued crown, a softly gathered ruff and a trailing bow made from vintage-style sheet music. His companion is a rather more eccentric gentleman, dressed in a whimsical music-paper hat finished with a delicate feather, tiny spectacles and his own ruffled collar.

Touches of old sheet music wind around both figures, bringing a quiet musical thread to the pair, while layers of hand-applied texture and gently distressed finishes give them the appearance of curious little treasures discovered in an old European house.

Placed together, the two seem caught in conversation, one suitably regal, the other perhaps offering some very important advice.

Entirely handmade, each detail bears the subtle irregularities and marks of the making process that make every Cat-arzyna piece unique.
